Miradas: A Celebration of Art, Connection, and Community at GONA

Last weekend, the walls of GONA were transformed into an epicenter of creativity and energy with the opening of “Miradas,” an exhibition featuring the works of Maxime V. and Angel Lara V.. It was a night that reminded us that art is not just something to be observed, but an experience to be lived and shared together.

A Night of Natural Connection and Success

The event was truly “super beautiful and super special,” achieving a perfect balance between artistic appreciation and social interaction. Thanks to extensive networking across the Nosara community—including groups like Casa de las Estrellas and various local circles—we welcomed about 80 guests. This was described as the "perfect turn up," as it allowed everyone the chance to interact deeply with each piece, talk with the artists, and share stories over wine and snacks.

The success of the evening was felt not only in the atmosphere. The artists were fully in their element, able to simply be themselves and shine alongside their work because every detail was so beautifully curated.

The Heart of Nosara

The feedback from our community has been unanimous: "We need more of this in Nosara". We feel deeply grateful to provide a space where artists have the freedom to shape their work in their own way and are supported by a community that connects with beauty in such a genuine way.

What is Coming Next

If you couldn't join us for the opening, there is still much to experience! Miradas will remain open until the end of the month, Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm. Our calendar is also full of upcoming opportunities to connect:

• Meet the Artist: This Saturday, join Maxime V. for a guided tour where he will present his artistic journey and the stories behind each painting.
• Live Painting & Sculpture: During Holy Week (Semana Santa), we will host a night of live music and live art (painting and clay sculpting). A cover fee will be collected to benefit Nosara Animal Care, and one of the donated works will be raffled off to support their cause.
• Private Viewings: You can also reach out to book a private guided tour with the artists for a more intimate experience.
